Staged & Styled’s Mission Statement is to
create spaces that reflect
organization,
beauty,
creativity
and
harmony.
Whether Kim
is decorating or redesigning, the mission is
the same. Our homes need to be a refuge, an
escape...places of safety, beauty and
comfort.
Kim has
been privileged to help many homeowners turn
their homes into peaceful havens.

Kim has also had the joy of attracting
potential homebuyers who can envision
themselves living in one of the homes staged
by Kim. Before becoming an Accredited
Stager™, Kim and her husband moved every
two and a half years. Kim took it upon
herself to get each of their homes “ready to
sell”. Every home sold within a few days of
putting it on the market! As one of the
first ASPs™ (Accredited Staging
Professionals) in the State of Ohio and
subsequently, in Northeast Ohio, Kim’s
experience and knowledge far surpass any
other stager in this region. Kim’s work has
been seen on prestigious home tours,
featured on the cover of the Kids’
Directory, and is also showcased in the
brand new book, “The Idiot’s Guide To
Staging Your Home”. Kim believes staying
abreast of the latest ideas and market
trends in home staging is essential to her
clients and to her business. For this
reason, Kim chooses to take continuing
education courses and is a member of
IAHSP (International Association of Home
Staging Professionals).
Kim is also one of the
first 18 Certified Dewey Color
Consultants in the world. As a DCCC, Kim
understands that color is powerful and
impacts each of us differently. Along with
her DCCC designation, Kim is also an ODCCC
(Certified Color Consultant). Kim has been
trained by renowned faux finisher, Cyndie
Stefanik. Ms. Stefanik’s work has been
featured in numerous magazines, including
Architectural Digest. With her extensive
color training, Kim can create successful
color palettes that are
individualized
and fabulous!

In 2005, Kim had the honor of being a
design consultant for the Henn
Leadership convention (Henn By
Design).

In addition to her color training and
consulting work, Kim has received
training from HGTV designer and
industry leader, JoAnne Lenart-Weary.
The designation of IDP (Interior
Decorating Professional) was awarded
to Kim in April, 2006.
Kim also understands the value of
membership to professional
organizations such as the (IDS)
Interior Design Society, Staged
Homes, and (SDP) Society of
Decorating Professionals.

Kim makes a point to stay abreast of
the latest design trends by attending the
Atlanta Mart and “To The Trade Only” events.
Kim has had the privilege of helping
homeowners and business owners discover the
untapped potential of their spaces. However,
she says that true joy comes when she is
able to “donate” her talents to causes that
grab her heart.
The Barnabas House was one of those
endeavors. Kim, along with a fellow
designer, decorated the Barnabas House for
missionary families who are home on furlough
from their global service. Kim has also
given freely of her time and talents to
women’s events and trade shows.
